About us

When

1973 our story began with a restaurant, terrace and only 25 hotel rooms. Under the leadership of Mr. and Mrs. Broeks (third generation), the motel grew steadily. New hotel rooms, modern function rooms, a cozy hotel bar and a health club were added.

In 1995 they passed the baton to their son Jan Broeks and his partner Mireille Ortiz. With great passion, they too renovated and expanded the hotel, constantly responding to the wishes of their guests.

Now

Today, Van der Valk Hotel Volendam has grown into a versatile hotel with 129 hotel rooms, 7 function rooms, restaurant, hotel bar, terrace and a Healthclub. Thanks to our unique mix of business and leisure facilities as well as our convenient location just 15 kilometers from the heart of Amsterdam, we are a popular destination for both business and leisure travelers.
